AJ walked behind me down the hall to the hotel room ... as we
walked, I felt his hand on my back. A moment later, I felt the
zipper of my
dress sliding down. “Hey!” I hissed. “Can’t you wait ‘til
we get in the
room?”
“Nope, I can’t ...” His lips brushed the nape of my neck,
sending
chills down my spine.
We reached the door. I turned to him. “You have the
key.”
He patted his pocket. “Reach in and get it.”
“Pervert.” Still, I stuck my hand in his pocket. I
could feel his
erection through the cloth. “Oh, gee, is this what pressing up
against all
those teenage girls does to you?” I teased.
“Oh, yeah, I’m into the statutory rape thing ...” he growled,
leaning
over to nibble on my ear.
I pulled away long enough to slide the key into the door lock
and
turn the handle. The first thing I saw as I walked in was the
message light
blinking on the phone. “AJ ... someone called ...”
“I don’t care.” He grasped my shoulders and pushed my dress
downward. It slid to the floor easily, leaving me standing in
only my bra,
underwear, and nylons. He stood behind me, his hands wrapped
around my
torso, as he kissed my neck gently. “I told you earlier that
there’d be time
to play later ... now’s later ... I want to play with you for a while.”
I felt him unhook my bra, then spin me around to face him as it
fell
to the floor. His hands came up to my face, cupping it ... he
lowered his lips
to mine and kissed me slowly. I wound my arms around his neck
and
leaned into him, silently begging for the unbridled passion I’d come
to
expect from him, but he kept the kiss slow and languid. When
he paused, I
felt his breath against my mouth as he whispered. “Don’t rush
me, baby.”
“Just a few minutes ago, you couldn’t wait ...” I responded, pulling
his shirt out of his pants and unbuttoning it.
He let go of me long enough to let me push the shirt off of his
shoulders. “Why can’t I seduce you this once?”
I smiled as he sat me down on the bed, straddling my hips.
“AJ ...
you seduce me every time you look at me.” Okay, so it sounded
cheesy as I
said it, but it made him smile. He ran his hands through my hair
and leaned
down to kiss me again. It was just as slow as the first one ...
god, why did
he have to be so damned good? There should be a law against making
a girl
hot and wet just by kissing her ... but, there I was, completely ready
for him
before his mouth ever left mine.
After what seemed like an eternity, he laid me back on the bed.
He
sat on the foot of the bed as he reached up and peeled off my nylons,
one at
a time ... he ran his hands up and down my legs, his touch lingering
on my
thighs. I heard myself whimpering when he leaned over and kissed
the
inside of my thighs softly. “God, AJ, quit teasing me ...”
“Teasing? It’s only teasing if you don’t plan on following
through
...” A moment later, my panties went the same route as my nylons,
and I
was naked. He crawled up my body, planting soft kisses on my
belly,
between my breasts, and on my neck as he went. Finally, we were
nose to
nose. “I love you, baby,” he whispered.
That was it. Three little words that destroyed me far better
than his
touch could ever do. I reached up and claimed his lips with mine.
I didn’t
know what else to do ... how else to respond. I held on for dear
life as he
bent his head once again to my breasts. His lips, his touch --
everything was
slow and gentle. The passionate and playful AJ drove my body
to the brink.
The loving AJ drove my mind to the brink.
By the time he finished ‘playing,’ I was ready to say or do anything,
just to feel him inside of me. I wrapped my legs around him and
murmured
incoherent endearments as I reached my climax.
When my mind finally came back to my body, we were lying in bed,
limbs tangled together. I could hear his breathing, feel his
heartbeat. After
a few minutes, he spoke. “Tori ... come on tour with me,” he
breathed.
“What?” I’d forgotten about that.
“I want you to stay with me. Come on, we’re flying out the
West
Coast in a couple of days. Have you ever been to California?”
I disengaged myself from him and sat up. “No ... oh, god
... I don’t
know, AJ. I just ... don’t know ...”
He sat up with me. “Why not? Where else are you going
to go from
here?”
“I don’t know ... I could ... this is all so fast, AJ. I
don’t know what
to say!”
“Say yes. This tour gets so long ... I mean, yeah, I can
grab someone
to be with whenever I feel like it, but I like being with you.
I don’t really
want to go back to that right now. I kinda like this ‘being in
love’ feeling.”
There it was again -- that four letter word. I didn’t know
what to do
with it. “I like being with you, too ... but, this is kind of
huge. I just don’t
know what to say right now,” I repeated.
“Don’t say anything right now, then. Think about it. Sleep on it.”
I smiled at him, relieved. “Okay, I will.” My mind
and my heart
were too messed up just then to make a decision.
A slightly awkward silence followed. Then, he looked over
at the
phone and saw the blinking light. “Whoops, someone called.”
“I told you that before, dumbass,” I teased him. “You were
too
distracted to listen.”
“Yeah, well, you do that to me ...” He turned on the speaker
phone
and pressed the button. “Let’s see who wanted to bother us.”
I heard the phone beep, then a male voice. “Victoria?
Oh, Jesus, I
hope this is your room. I stole this piece of paper off of Sarah’s
table, and it
makes no sense to me. It just has this number and says ‘Victoria
- ask for
room 606, Alexander McLean.” Who the hell is that, anyway?
And isn’t
this a New York area code? What are you doing? When are
you coming
home? I have to talk to you ... why’d you run off like that,
before I could
explain? I just need to talk to you. Please call me.
Or, better yet, come
home. I’m worried about you.”
As the message went on, I slumped back down on the bed, until
I
was laying down, clutching the sheets to my chest. “Who was that?”
AJ
asked. The tone of his voice told me that he’d already guessed.
“That was Steve. I called Sarah earlier today to let her
know where
I was ... he must have found the note she wrote.”
“Your best friend’s still buddy-buddy with him?”
“I guess ... I don’t know what’s going on.” I shrugged when
AJ put
a hand on my shoulder. “I’ve got to ... I ... I have to go.
I need to clear my
head.”
I stood up -- he stood up with me. “Where are you going?”
“For a walk, or something ... I didn’t expect to hear his voice,
AJ. I
need to get it out of my head.” AJ had sent my emotions soaring.
Steve
had caused them to crash into the ground. I felt rather lightheaded,
though I
couldn’t figure out exactly why.
He sighed and sat back down on the bed. I grabbed a pair
of jeans
and a t-shirt. “You don’t want any company, I take it.”
“No ... I’ll be back in a while.”
“Be careful.”
“I will.”
I finished dressing and fled the room, but not before I noticed
the
scowl on his face. Steve’s disapproving voice echoed in my head.
The
elevator doors had barely closed before I burst into tears.
